Puna Geothermal Venture

Documenting inundation of lava from the 2018 Kilauea Eruption to current reconstruction of infrastructure and improvements. Photography and videography has been used for internal archiving of geothermal plant, public release statements, energy infrastructure planning and development, and environmental assessments. 

Puna Geothermal Plant is owned and operated by Ormat Technologies, project approved in-person. A high level of trust and confidentiality is exercised to record energy plant progress and development to restore 42 megawatts of renewable energy, one third of the island’s energy usage. 

Media has been used and distributed to multiple companies and agencies including the Department of Defense, State of Hawaii Governor’s Office, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Energy, and Hawaiian Electric Company. Media shared within this proposal is only to be viewed for this proposal and must be kept confidential due to security and operational concerns.
